We are almost through March and I'm moving in May. OH MY! Time to tackle all the projects that were personal (stuff I wanna keep) LOL. Busy, busy and putting in extra over time to get the pieces finished and ready for the move. I'm feeling the March Madness - mad as a March Hare ... and green has definitely been the colour choice for some of my personal pieces. It should all make sense once they are in the "new" old space. If they don't work, something else will and it's good to know that they'll be loved by someone else.
Arts & Crafts - antique chair gets a fresh face for Spring
The antique drop-leaf (spring-loaded) table with drawer is ready for a corner of the family room. Originally I thought it was oak but the grain is tight and smoother (cherry is my first guess - possibly maple). Love this table and can hardly wait to put it in it's new space.
After covering up the ruined bistro table all winter, I was finally able to complete the project and recover the chairs. Now to keep them safe for sale until the move.
