Well I've started the process of getting projects finished for a new space.  It's kind of fun to have a chance to redecorate and change things around once I move.  Right now it is a lot of hard work and messy to get as much of the furniture done and to arrange it all.

Here are some of the pieces that I'm working on and finished.

have to find a little light for the top and then it's done
4 ladder back chairs, painted, distressed and seats repaired
round oak pedestal table painted - distressing, sanding and gloss finish to be added for durability

antique drop leave table finished

antique arts&crafts chair repaired and painted

This is my visual gallery - I love the holidays (all of them) it just gives me the opportunity to dress things up and enjoy my friends and family.

I decorated "Nessie" our sea or loch dragon in festive baubles.
The china cabinet (I painted a dated 1970s dark buffet) in a Provence style blue and gold finish last spring.  A winter theme of owls and polar bears with tree branches and crystal baubles.  Christmas lights and snow balls inside a lantern.  A silver Elk as my centerpiece with tea lights in old mercury and stain glass.

A very global collection of furnishing in the family room.

I love my French wrought iron and crystal chandeliers!

I love the blue sun umbrella - makes me think of jazz and outdoor cafes
